Can anyone help me with resetting the Factory settings on my Eotech XPS2-0?

Hey all, this is my first post, hopefully nobody will hold it against me?! I just purchased an Eotech XPS2-0 for my Bushmaster AR15. Just got it home and my kid right out of the box started to tinker with the windage and elevation. Can anyone possibly tell me how to put the settings back to stock? Or would anyone possibly like to share how theirs is setup ie. how many clicks on the Windage/ Elevation for 50 yards?

Turn the windage knob all the way counter-clockwise. Now, turn clockwise (counting the clicks) until it reaches the end of travel. Divide the number of clicks in half and turn the windage knob back counter-clockwise again.
Do the same with the elevation knob.
It should take all of 5 minutes for both.


This will return the unit to mechanical zero, which is the ideal starting point.
There's no "quick" way to do it because you have no idea now many clicks-from-zero the unit is now.

Zero your back-up iron sights the old fashioned way, then stick the EOTECH on and line up the center dot with the iron sites, that should get you with-in an inch or so at the same range you zero'd the irons.
