EOTech EXPS3 and 3x Magnifier

Hey Everyone,

The weather was warmer today, low teens, so I decided to head out and sight in my new EXPS3 with 3x Magnifier and now I have a few questions.

What sighting target does everyone use? I had a few of the M16A2 mil issue targets so I used them.

Once I got the EXPS3 sighted, I flipped the 3x down and shot 3 rounds. Has anyone had an issue where when they use the 3x it shifts the group a couple inches? I know from reading the manual that the 3x needs to be adjusted, just want to hear what other people are coming across when they shoot.

This is what I did with my Colt LE6920, EoTech 557 with EoTech 3x magnifier.

Zerod at 100 yards with magnifier. Works out well because up closer shots with both eyes open are very very close without magnifier.

I have used these for about a decade. I start at 25yds when mounting a new site. I then move it to 100yds and re0adjust it. It gives me 5 groups at each yardage and has worked like a champ

Thanks MP Ohio, used the same style targets today. Ended up just mechanically re-zeroing the 3x magnifier and it shot beautifully today. Now I just need to fix the operator error when I shoot and bring my groups closer together.

Yep, user error is the hardest one to fix

Thanks for the recommendation but I won't need one. When I got the XPS and 3x it came with the Samson Quick Flip.
