Viking L.U.S.A. sling attachment

i bought a viking LUSA sling attachment and it will not accept a quick detach swivel. the diameter of the swivel socket on the LUSA ever so slightly too small. has anyone ever experience this as well? are there different sized swivel post (the male portion)?

I have several of these. The Viking Tactics LUSA (Lamb Universal Sling Attachment) is designed to limit the sling swivel from rotating past 45 degrees (to keep the sling from twisting under usage). If you are using a non-VTAC QD swivel, this may not work. You can order one that fits from VTAC for $24.95, or if you want to, you could always drill the LUSA out a little; you will mar the finish, but with the sling swivel in place, no one will ever know...; however, if you get the VTAC unit it will work perfectly with the designed anti-twist feature...your call.
