    Yeah, you're right. It was a pretty stupid thing to do. New Year's Eve celebrating....

    We were way out in the country in a largely uninhabited area though, and we honestly thought it was safe.

    There was an airfield on the other side of the mountains (we were up above the treeline) that was not even manned (no air traffic control) but one of the locals who was there working that night apparently called and complained....

    We don't do that kind of stuff anymore.... I do make some mistakes, but I don't ever repeat them....

    5.56 trace is not very bright even in low light.......7.62 and .50 on the other hand
