Avoid Aguila...
Had a squib today and the stuff is very dirty.
I like Magtech, PMC, and American Eagle.

Federal at my walmart is 10.50 for 50rnds, other than that I only shoot WWB $23 for 100
Be cool and eat fruit!
Winchester WB, shoot it all day long.
Federal 100 rd value pack, $20 at Wally
Hhmmm....Right now, it's Aguila 117 grain for 9mm handguns. Perplexingly, despite the dirty-reviews in another thread---I found the 1 box I shot to be incredibly clean.
[As far as squibs are concerned...they can happen with any manufacturer's ammunition. Squibs, bullet setbacks, double-charges, and ka-booms secondary to other reasons---can happen with any manufacturer. Guess one way around it is to only fire one's own reloads; can't blame anyone then, but oneself. Prudence, presence of mind, alertness, have been my best insurance against catastrophe. I may be lucky, but I'm not going to depend on any magic talismans in the form of a particular ammo-maker's wares to protect me.]--Patrice
I like to pick up a 500 round box of .40 factory reloads at the gun show for about 90 bucks. I think 9mm is closer to 60 or 70 bucks.
I think that winds up being $9 for a 50 rnd box of .40, and $6 or $7 for a box of 9mm.
They shoot through my gun perfectly and consistently. They don't act like reloads at all. Very well done.
Plus they come in a nice plastic ammo can that you can re use for whatever.
