What are your favorites and why, etc..???![]()
Make no mistake my friend. It isn't the revenge I'm after, it's the reckoning. http://www.youtube.com/user/Xendrius
Remington gold. Me and my son just plink with it but they are more reliable and accurate compared to the wwb.
Angry Panda Poon RAAAWR!
I have two favorites.
one is the CCI hyper velocity Stingers. They are the most accurate I shoot and are more effective killers than other stuff.
The Other is Aguila's subsonic 60 grain round. It's very long and tumbles in the target, plus has great penetration. It's actually really effective. Excellent round for suppressed sniping.

When I'm buying:
CCI Mini-mag 40gr CJRN or CCI AR Tactical 40gr CJRN
High quality, relatively clean and inexpensive ammunition. 100% reliable.
When it's on someone else's dime (costs more than 5.56):
ELEY Tenex or ELEY Match =P

cci mini mag is one of my favorites
For plinking I use Rem and Fed bulk. The S&W 15-22 likes the federal bulk and my pistols cycle better with the Remington Golden bullet bulk.
For critters CCI mini mags.
For target shooting I use Wolf match extra or CCI standard velocity. Wolf is more consistent but I can find the CCI locally and it shoots pretty well.
Both shoot about dime sized groups at 50 yards from a bolt action and I've had good results with both at 200+ yards.
CCI mini mags are my favorite (accurate and clean) with the stingers a close second. The stinger makes a huge flash when fired out of the wife's Walter P22 (looks cool but would kill your night vision). The mini mags also work great in my Sig522 (never tried the stingers). Currently going through a 1000 rounds of the Winchester M-22 that I picked up cheap (look like no other 22lr). My wife didn't like them in her P22 but they seem to do great in my Sig 522. Maybe a little more dirty than the mini mags but have only shot 150 of the Winchester and had mixed in some mini mags. Next time at the range it will be strictly the M-22's in the Sig to see how they do.
