    300 BO ammo prices

I have been contemplating getting a 300 BO upper for my AR. Ammo is somewhat scarce and stupid priced. What was this stuff selling before the panic hit? Some of the more common calibers seem to be headed back to reasonable pricing but not this stuff.

I don't know-- my guess and the trend is coming down- I agree the prices are stupid. I hope that this gets better as I also have purchased a 300 upper and want to stockpile a bit before I start shooting it.

It should go for .308 prices. That's what I paid for 1K 2 months ago. .70/ per

I paid $18/box at Walmart last week. Picked up 3 boxes. (Oregon). I've been making my own since I hadn't seen any for months.

I was picking up supersonic fmj, pre panic, for about .65 a rnd.
Since the panic I've been picking up supersonic ballistic tip 125gr for .90 a rnd and subsonic 220gr for about 1.10 a rnd.

Should be seeing a run of Remington UMC 115 soon hitting shelves....jus unsure if they will be around the $11.99 a box price - but in the mean time: Ozark Ordnance still has 125sst, 147gr FMJ and 150gr FMJ in stock! Buy a bulk order of 147 or 150 FMJ and use the coupon code "300blk" and get $50.00 off! Check em out at 300 AAC Blackout products for sale

Yeah it means there's two different types of alloys In the projectile. Usually steel and something else. I've given up worrying about it. Except in my scar that's different. Barrels are too damned expensive for throse to be putting steel through them.

    Copper washed/plated steel jacket

I have shot a crap-ton of it over the years, if I can avoid it I try to now a days. I don't mind steel case ammo like Hornadys steel match as long as the bullets are the std copper jacket and not the bi-metal kind.
