    Czech vs Russian surplus 7.62x54R

Ok here's the deal, me and one of my friends ordered 2 tins of 80's light ball Russian ammo. I already have about 500rd of CZ (open tin) so should I just give my friend 440 of CZ light ball for the sealed 440rd tin of Russian? They are both 80's copper washed light ball and he don't care either way. I have shot both (PSL) but I never put both on paper to see which is best. I like the fact the Russian is sealed (good for hard times) but I know the CZ shoots good.I don't shoot much surplus because I'm to lazy to clean everything with water! In your opinion which is better (better tolerances, less corrosive, faster fps, more stable at long distance, etc)? Thanks

All I know is CZ, Bulgarian, Polish, and E.German have had great results for me in my Maks and CZ 52. The Russian stuff was okay but was much more dirty. CZ ammo is higher quality in my experience. No experience with 7.62x54 however, I would buy an ammo case before I would trade my good stuff.

I would keep the sealed tin.
