    300BLK Upper

I'm in the market for a new complete 300BLK upper. I had a complete AAC MPW 9" that I had to send back, when I finally got around to putting a suppressor on it and we found out the barrel threads weren't concentric. Remington, the new AAC, said just send it back in and we'll put a new barrel in it for you and send it back. Well, they've had it for roughly 4 months and I get a call and they tell me they can't fix it. The remaining barrels they have tried won't shoot consistently and they're not doing any more new ones. They will be sending back my lower without an upper and giving me some sort of refund for the upper. I'm not exactly happy about the situation but at least I get my registered lower back. I've been looking for complete upper and other than a KAC on GB they've been limited at best for nice setups and it's $1,800. Should I be looking just to build one or does anyone have suggestions of where I may be able to find a quality built 9" upper?

    Wilson combat makes a nice 11.3 but I don't know if they make a 9. Around 1200.00

My 11.3 has never hiccuped from day one and the accuracy is good too.

I picked up a noveske 10 inch and had nothing but fun with it. Took me a while to get it, and cost about 1200 (a steal- really). It runs suppressed and Unsuppressed with zero issues. Gunbroker + time are your friend here!

I would build one. I have a Mega Billet upper with a Noveske 8.5" match barrel and Troy rail.
It runs great when shooting subs suppressed and super unsuppressed. I haven't tried either reversed.

    Stripped Billet upper $125
    Noveske Barrel $350
    Gas tube $10
    51t Mount $80
    FA and dust cover $25
    Carrier and Bolt $125
    BCM KMR rail $170
    Raptor CH $70

You can build your own for about $1000 and have it perfect. All IMO very good quality parts. Plus a KMR rail will help keep the weight down.

I'd suggest Midwest Industries (a Forum Sponsor), they may be able to fix you up pretty reasonably and is really good stuff IMO and good customer service. You can take a look on line but I'd give them a call, I think you'll be able to get it for 1K or less. I think they use Criterion barrels on most of their builds.

I just put together a 300blk pistol with the PSA 10.5' complete upper. Has a pistol gas system, and cycles everything I have tried from 150gr up to 208gr subs. Still waiting (and going to be quite a while yet) for my suppressor, so I can not testify to that portion. I have changed the flash hider and everything looked fine with no issues threading the new one on.

My favorite 300 BLK SBR setup employs a Seekins upper with an 8" barrel and a 12" MLOK rail. I run a dedicated direct thread Omega that barely pokes out from the end. It's a nice compact setup and great shooter. No problems ever on an assorted array of ammo (sub's, super's, you name it).
