SBR Form 1 sent

Ya I see that on the form, the instuctions says something different. Someone didn't proof read the form before it was approved and printed.

Take an act of Congress to change it. Really, it's true.

Like everyone has been saying, it won't matter.

Just don't make the check payable to Obama.

You can go to 2. g., of the instructions, scan and post that too for everyone to see.

We are both correct, as the form is inconsistant.

My guess is that they change the form, the date of 9/30/2010, may be an indicator of that.

Well USPS tracking shows my package of paperwork was delivered and signed for Today at 1:32 P.M.

The USPS told me that it would be delivered on Saturday. So they got it sooner.

All of that is good, but the day the check is cashed determines what pile you'll be in, not day they get the forms.

I hear that, I am happy they received them though.

I'll be watching my checking account now.

Just got back from the postoffice , so I'm not far behind you guys. I will keep my fingers crossed all three are smooth and quick. Where are ya'll planning to get them engraved?

Pics or video of the work would be excellent! I watched my latest SBR get lasered but CNC mills are way more fascinating to me.

Good question, in process in finding options for that. One place I found in MA does laser engraving, not sure if they do firearms or not, as they do not say on their website.

I would like to find some close by so I can drop off and pick up, ideally.

Laser may be the way to go, as I want to have it done in a place where it would seem easier to do it that way. Not sure if tooling will fit.

I have a tri rail, and want to have it on the right side, in the space between the top rail and the mag, next to the side rail.

HDPS did mine on the right side above the charging handle, then he colored the letters so it matchs the finish of the rifle. The cost was $35.
