I like my ACC 762-SD on my SCARs, I also run it on my bolt gun and several 5.56 rifles, but not on any of my AKs. The only suppressor I've had any experience with on an AK was the YHM 762 Phantom SS my friend has.
The YHM 762 Phantom SS is a good suppressor and mounts, just a bit heavy. From what I understand they have a larger bore and would give you a little more clearance for the larger bullet diameter of the 7.62x39. If I was looking at doing a suppressor on a AK, I would call Yankee Hill Machine and talk to them about running one of their cans on a AK. I would also ask them about their Titanium 762 Phantom and see how they feel about how it would hold up with what you want to do.

Much appreciated - I'll give Yankee Hill a call. Thanks to all. Matt
