Paid for a suppressor last night.....actually traded for the manufacturing and doing the paperwork while the wife decides on when she will give me the 200 for the stamp. I am stoked and will post pics of Patriots work when I go back over there in a day or few. I have fired my SCAR with his cans and the difference is amazing. He did say the norm right now for Colorado approvals is going 5 months.
JHS....pics will be here REAL soon. I feel like a Freshman with the Senior cheerleader on his first night with a bone and a chick! He is going over the PS90 SBR thread you wrote up via CMMG and the Armorer Manual you sent me to see if he is comfortable with doing the barrel for my wife. Last night was real cool for me in that he allowed me to watch him work cutting/crowning a barrel, went through some details of the M1, checked out a real cool Saiga 12 SBS (I want one) and bullshitted machining life and everything in between. When all was said and done he really liked the custom FNP40 I just recently bought and never fired...enough to trade it for my first can chambered for 5.56, what he calls his Patriot Suppressor. The weight scares the crap out of me as does the dirty factor but my hearing will appreciate it.
To JHS, thank you sincerely for you contributing your PS90 experience too. It is much appreciated, amigo.
Happy to help.![]()
