Has anyone had a problem getting their HALO to fit on the SCAR 16 brake. My HALO is from 2007 and fits on my PWS FSC556 on another weapon with out a problem. Just got a brand new SCAR 16 and it only goes as far as the 3 front prongs and then will not advance any farther. I made sure both surfaces were clear and applied a light coat of oil, but it was a no go. Maybe my brake is a small amount out of spec? I thought of maybe gently sanding the outside of the brake to remove a small amount to get the can to slide on. Any thoughts would be helpful.
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
Measure the outside diameter of the unit on your SCAR and compare that measurement to the other unit you have. If it's larger in O.D., a call to PWS is in order. Sanding the O.D. by hand could result in a baffle strike so I wouldn't advise taking that course of action.

That was indeed what happened the outside diameter was not even and then entire brake had to be replaced. Now it is pure joy to shoot with a can on it without getting my sinuses blasted.
It's nice when things work out.
