Slow ATF

Well, the ATF finally cashed my check. Sent in the paperwork in late September for my new 7.62Phantom. I really hope I don't have to wait another six months to get my form4 back. My last form4 only took three months mailbox to mailbox. I'm normally a very patient person, but what took four days last time has taken four months. Why is that the government will send in armed IRS agents if you owe them money, but procrastinate like a teenage math student when we throw money at them for tax stamps? Ridiculous.

I had one that was a month mailbox to mailbox and another one that took ten months.

It may take some time but they will get to it. Hang in there.

I've had a 762SD suppressor pending at NFA Branch since 3 SEP 11! There is absolutely NO reason why these should take so long. If I was that inefficient in my job, I'd be fired... 101

I know government work is one of the most inefficient things on the planet, but I'd assumed that they would jump at the chance to add to their coffers.

I sent a check two weeks ago and it was cashed within 4 days. I also mailed in another check Friday so we will see how quick that gets cashed. Now if only the rest of the process would move so swiftly! Good luck with your transfers!

I have my .45 cobra in for amonth and will be submitting my 308 phantom in Thursday. I have heard the wait times are getting shorter, but who frickin knows I could understand a couple weeks to a month, but have a FRICKIN year, Kiss my arse
