It would only apply to forms dated after it's passed.

You guys know this is over a year old right? And that the ATF is now allowing electronic form submission now?

It does not matter, if they want to come round people up over things like suppressors they are going to find you. the concept of "hiding things" under a trust is completely irrelevant. If they want to know they can find out pretty easily. The two wars we have fought recently have done quite alot for our intelligences capacity to track people who want to stay hidden. Make no mistake, there are those in our government who see those who "cling to God and Guns" as no different that offing the tailban IMO. I think that if things stay the way they are, conservative is going to be the new Jew.

No. You have to put the make/model and serial number of the suppressor on there. That is part of what your Class 3 dealer fills in.

One of two ways. If you are buying a rifle that is already classified as a SBR, then yes, your class 3 dealer must have it in their possession.

Now if you are "manufacturing" the SBR yourself (i.e. - a rifle already in your possession), you just put that serial number on your Form 1, and wait until your tax stamp comes back. THEN, you purchase an SBR upper and/or swap out the barrel (as with a PS90).

I'm no expert...and I had to seek out other online help. Here are a couple of the places I used:

It's not difficult, but be thorough and take your time. If you do it wrong, they'll send it back, and it will only delay your timeline. My Class 3 dealer accidentally put "The" at the beginning of my trust on the ATF Form. They kicked it back and it added 6 weeks to my timeline
