    If you put a HK mag in the SCAR 16S, does it still have no more than 10 imported parts?
    I'm not worried about this. I'm certain FN has addressed this issue and made certain enough components are produced domestically to be in compliance.

    Just buy Brownell's enhanced mags in SOCOM tan. They match better than the FN mags (and cheaper) IMO. You can get them from Bravo Co. for $9.99 w/ Magpul gen. 3 followers.

    fn scar mags

    I have bought some also on gunbroker. They are fn #98880 aluminum body and painted tan on bottom. Which is identical to the one that came with the scar rifle. The seller i got mine from has them listed now for $27.95 ea. and he gave me the option to purchase up to 5 more at that price.

When the required amont of U.S. made components are installed on the gun, the pin is removed from blocking the magazine from being installed in the gun.

    A little late but thanks for that. I was wondering what the heck that pin was!
