I got it at Dvor.com. They had a special on them but that was a couple of weeks ago.

Just got my Storm im3200 and put my 17 in it. smaller.jpg

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

Sweet setup. Nice job on the cut outs, did you use an electric knife? Are those modded PMAGS & FAL I see, cool. My field pack for my im3300 should be here on Monday, I just got notice that it shipped.

They are standard Pmags with a 10 round limiter. Sarge did a mod for me to be able to use Pmags. The metal mag is a SR-25 magazine, thats what the Pmags are molded after. I used a Stanly type of utility knife, I think its for carpet cause its got a screw on the side and you can slide the blade out 3". I just trace every thing on the back side of the foam so I dont have to worry about seeing the lines. Thanks

Oh yea I almost forgot, the dam thing is 43lbs. I weighed it on the scale.

Why are there so many choices out there, lol?

Here's what I am looking for... hard case for travel for my 17, with room for my 5.7 and FNX-40 as well. I really like the IM3300 472-PWC-SCAR case, but it doesn't look like I would be able to have much room for cutouts for my two handguns, does it?

That makes me lean either towards the IM3100 - cutting out my own foam, or the soft case inside. I really like the soft case, but would I be able to secure my handguns in there?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

The Pelican 1720 will have room for your 17S, Five-seveN and FNX-40. The real estate will vary depending upon what your 17S setup is, and what you wish to include in the case.

Well, I ended up going with the iM3200 with foam. I bought it from LaRue for a very good price. Placed the order online Thursday afternoon, cut the foam tonight (Friday). LaRue really is a great company. Here's a picture with my 17, Five-seveN, FNX-40, ACOG, and some other items packed in nice and tight! I have two mags coming from the FNH eStore on Monday, that will round out my 6 mag collection (for now!).

Thanks again for the advice in this thread!

    SCAR 16S in a Pelican 1700.

Yes, it fits. It is tight, but it fits. These things are selling for $163 shipped, with foam, from Amazon right now. I picked up two. That is at least 40 dollars cheaper than any other Pelican case that will work for the SCAR, in fact with most cases even more of a savings than that.
