Thought I would post a mini review of my Amber covers. Amber seems to improve contrast so shots through the sight with closed flips is a lot sharper and easier. Cons They scratch easily, I scratched mine with my fingernail but the scratches are not visible though the amber hue. From another user on another board "Lenses in these hues block haze and blue light and enhances the color of the target. The brighter yellow the lens color is, the better it is for use during low-light conditions."
This ELCAN also has the latest ARD that allows for a slimmer profile flip sight foortprint without the need to tighten any screws (older version)
