LOL! I go in there way too much.

I got a call from Marvin today. It seems there is a problem with my gas block being galled up from being installed. Not happy. I left a message and sent a email to Bob at FN. Hopefully he can help me out.
If your dealer has already started the conversion you're probably going to hear some bad news.

My guess would be that the warranty is history.

Yep. SOL. But it is repairable.

Tim at FN called me and basically said tuff sheit. That's fine. I expected that going in.

I asked him about gas blocks and barrel parts and he said FN sees it as a liability for sell such items. He blames the AK builders for importing "parts kit AK's" then assembling them into rifles as the reason why FN can't import barrels. I stated that gas blocks and barrel nuts are not barrels. Too bad NO is his response.

    Good times.

I also have to send my Scar heavy to them that I picked up last Wednesday because it came without a front site post and detent. They won't just send me the $20 parts.

Sorry to hear that but it's what I expected. FN is very picky about their weapons being messed with when it comes to the warranty.

I was told just installing a replacement barrel on any of their guns voids the warranty, even drop in barrels.

It's no problem really. It can be fixed. At this time I think it's important for everyone to know about this policy and how non cooperative they are.

I have 3 16S's and 2 17s. You would think there would be a little give. They are all great weapons. It would be nice to have some factory support. I'd also like to win the Powerball.
