I like it much better than the VFG. The AFG has a better angle for me, the VFG puts my wrist in a position that is very uncomfortable. I tried one when I deployed to Iraq in '03 but hated it. Just too uncomfortable for me. I used to hold the mag well till I tried the AFG.
