For those with a Magpul AFG, do you like?

Trying to figure out weather to go with the AFG or a vertical. Planning on installing a light with a grip switch as well. I can't figure out from the pics if the AFG is going to be a great thing, or if I just would be better off with a vertical.

I like the AFG when running the SCAR without any other extras. I find myself using the CAA version of the Grip Pod more than anything else.

I couldn't find a good place to put a light pressure pad on the AFG.

AFG is hands down the most comfortable front grip I've tried. Will not use anything else.

I had a light w/ pressure switch on at one point. It worked well. I ended up not needing a light since I only shoot the SCAR during daylight so it came off. Finding the right placement for the pressure switch took a bit of adjustments, but was easy to manipulate once I got it right.

I tried the AFG on my AR.. just couldn't get used to it. Maybe I've been using a pistol style VFG for too long.

I'm going to list it for sale.. new condition, original box and all of that. Color is FDE. $29 shipped.

I just think it's one of those personal preference parts.

It's neat and different; I don't think it's a plus over a vertical grip just different. It's for sure one of those personal preferences add-ons. I have 2 of them and do not like the finger tab in the center and must swap it out with the smooth one that’s also included. If it did not have the swappable finger tab I would not use them.

But overall I like them...

ahhh I was wondering the same thing... It looks awesome haha. Has anyone SBR'd their SCAR yet????

I only know of one, and his barrel flaked and his gunsmith made him a custom short barrel for it.
