I am sure you are going to like it. Like I said, I love mine, all three!!

There are two versions, one is the LE, which has the polymer legs only, and one is the Military version, which has the steel-reinforced legs ($50 extra, or $149 retail).

There is a picture on the Grippod website of a guy standing on top of a rifle fitted with a Grippod...oughta be able to handle a lot of abuse!

Here is my grip pod on Scar 17S

I used a leftover LE on my Scar 17S after I had upgraded to the heavy duty on my Beowulf .50 . The idea was to keep this Scar 17 light weight. It serves more of a hand locator for me as well as a support. I will eventually upgrade this one too, but it works good for now in LE. I like the rapid deployment feature.

You will also note the ACOG TA33-R with Larue DOS-MINI and a pair of 10 round mags for this weapon. Waiting for the big ones to be available.

The original Grip Pod was made for the M249, SAW. It's all aluminum and fairly hard to come by these days. The quickest way to identify this model is by the legs, they have holes running the length of them to save weight.

Just got one in FDE / Tan for my SCAR-16S. I got the metal-reinforced version. I think the color is a good match!

    racer88:

Thanks for posting your pics. I need two more GripPods, and was about to buy them, but I didn't know they had one out in FDE to match the SCARs.

    Plus one Karma for you!

They call it "tan," but it sure is a close match to FDE.

And, thanks for my first karma point!
