just mounted my COMPM4 on the SCAR16. i wanted to mount the scope far enoungh forward on the rail so i could install a 3x magnifier later without having to move the scope and going through all of that. the tension knob on the scope is too big and is in the way...a real knuckle buster. what have you guys done to resolve this issue? does larue have a mount that will solve my problem. i know you guys have already run into this issue and have some good ideas. thanks in advance.

What Ive heard for red dots is mount them in front of the charging handle. Also can you remove the mount and rotate it to screw on the other side?

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!
Easy. Buy a pair of these:

You can turn the Aimpoint mount around to either side.
You can move the Scar 17 Charging handle to either side.
Larue makes mounts in 3 different heights that will work from either side.
It doesn't get much easier than that............dj
