    Tango Down Extended Scar Rail

Has anyone heard any updates on this piece of kit? I have only seen pictures that were about a year old. I like the PWS version but I would prefer not to disassemble the barrel etc (although I am competent to do so). I'm not sure if the Tango version will allow access to the piston...this is a deal maker or breaker for me. The folks at Tango need to get a move on, no extended rail and no Scar 17 mags yet??

...i e-mailed tango down a couple weeks ago about an ETA...this is the reply:

"At this time we have no schedule to produce the EMRS. We are recommending
that you purchase the new free floating rail system by Vltor that made it's
debut at the Shot Show 2 weeks ago."

    ...hope you here something different...

    Welcome to FNForum.

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

Yea, I got a similar response. The guy was great with responding. He mentioned that they just don't have the demand for them yet to go with the "expensive tooling". He didn't mention anything about the Vltor though...I'll have to check that out. He also mentioned that we won't be seeing any Tango Scar 17 mags in the foreseeable future.

Yea, no kidding. Then why did FN, PWS & Vltor jump on it?? Maybe it just isn't financially feasible for them to produce yet. Why tease us with prototypes that were introduced last year though??
