Does anyone know how to modify a e or p mag to fit My scar l?
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
Read this. Check all your mags, especially PMAGS, but check all mags!!
Also. I contacted Surefire regarding their 60 and 100 round magazines and how they work in the SCAR16s. Here is their thorough reply.
Dear Customer,
The SureFire MAG5-60 and MAG5-100 are designed to comply with STANAG 4179 STANAG magazine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, a draft standardization agreement created for NATO in the early 1980’s. Though the agreement has yet to be adopted by NATO, many NATO partners strive to deploy rifles that are compliant. Doing so makes sharing magazines amongst NATO partners more reliable in a field of operations. There are rifles in the market place that are close to the standard, and some that significantly deviate from the standard, and do not comply with the proposed standardized dimensions. SCAR rifles are one of the close varieties.
We have performed several tests with the SCAR weapons in both select fire (automatic) and semi-auto variations, and have had mixed results with magazines dropping free from the magazine well. The magazines function very well in the SCAR in our testing. A few factors that affect the drop free are wear and cleanliness. The more wear the more reliable the free-fall experience. Cleanliness is a factor when an operator is firing 60 rounds at a time, as opposed to 20 or 30 and then exchanging a magazine. If a suppressor is used the dirt factor increases. The end result, the magazines fall free every time when tested in a standard M4, M16, AR15, or any STANAG compliant system. Occasionally they do not in a SCAR.
We have experienced failures to drop free using standard 20 and 30 round magazines from a SCAR. Point being, since the standard magazine is designed to meet the STANAG requirements, then the issue could be prevalent with the SureFire high capacity magazines. However, the more we tested with the SCAR the more often the magazine did drop free, and using different SCAR’s resulted in different experiences. The SureFire magazines are high grade heat treated aluminum that is anodized and coated with a dry film lubricant, and as a result do drop free more reliably that a polymer magazine in our testing. It is important to note that the purpose of our testing was not to compare drop free results, and each users experience may vary.
Thank You
