scar 16 xps2 or t-1, sling choice

thank you. I had to google the difference between absolute and 1/3.... so the will the xps comes stock with a low 'absolute cowitness' mount?

I second the t-1. Already went thru the finger ache of the eotech clearing the charging handle. I like mine to sit above the magwell. As for mount height. I ditched the stock irons for troy micros so i went with the American Defense CAS-V mount so they would absolute cowitness. And my sling choice is still the BFG padded vcas with a gearsector qd just over the forward torx screw that way when i pop out the qd i can still get to the torx screw without removing the mount.

The XPS is the lower mounted model. The EXPS has the lower 1/3 co-witness.

Im looking for a red dot setup. I had to get rid of the acog since i live in a heavy populated city.

Im searching for certain setups and I see alot of t-1's on the Scar but what's this hk mount? is it a specific mount needed to get a cowitness?

as for eotech, is the xps going to be cowitness, and does it interfere with the charging handle?

I like the eotech reticle alot but i've never shot a red dot sight before.

whats the favor here?

also slings. I have a vtac padded 2 point, but I like the concept of the ms3. DOes anyone have experience with teh ms3 while using it as a 2 point?

I have several Eotechs but I tried the c-more tactical and really love it I thinking of one for my new scar but they only come in black but it s a great dot

if you are willing to consider an aimpoint compm4 with a larue LT659 mount. for 100% co-witness get the lt659 medium height...for lower 1/3 co-witness get the lt659 tall. rock solid setup for sure.

My EXP3-0 works great on my 16s. It does co-witness the BUIS's too. I did my research before buying an optic and both had great reviews. Im sure you cant go wrong with either. ACH isnt a major problem/fault either. Just takes getting use to the weapon with the certain sight. I also have to add i bought this optic with in mind buying the eotech 3x mag some day. Yet to do that though.
Do a good bit of research before you buy, youtube has some great side by side comparisons/reviews.

T/H-1 with Larue LT751 will give you absolute cowitness on both the AR and SCAR

The high Larue mount gives you lower 1/3 co witness on the SCAR, the HK gives absolute co witness. I would have gone with the HK mount if I hadn't found a smokin deal on a T1 with a Larue high mount. That said, the high mount is very comfy for the SCAR and Aimpoints are so good you don't need to worry about what form of co witness it is because you'll never need to use it!
