I am getting all the rifles fixed up this week in hopes to make it out to the range to shoot.

I've ordered almost all of my optics on Amazon with pay with points. Only thing I purchase outside of there usually is guns, mags, ammo and a few other specialty parts.

While I love my Elcan 1-4x, I'm looking for something with a little more magnification on the 17s. Something at least 8x or 10x mag.

I went with the 1-4x as well. I would like to have the 1.5-6x at some point for the extended range. My REPR still needs a scope so there is still hope.

Binks, can you tell a considerable difference between the 4x and 6x powered Elcans (magnification wise)I'm considering trading up my 1-4x Elcan for the 1.5-6x. Also in the opposite direction, 1x versus 1.5x. Is the 1.5 a both eyes open view? The 1x on the Elcan 1-4x is not a 100% both eye open red dot like that of a Eotech but not bad. Wondering how different the 1.5x is compared to the 1x. Thanks

    I never had the 1x . I started at the 1.5x ..The big diff from what I understand is not 1x vs 1.5x, it's the 4x vs 6x .

I've never paid attention to one eye versus both. Mainly a one eye shooter with the squinted 2nd. I'll pay attention and report back.

I posted pics of the optics on post 1. If I would take a minute to get everything setup on the scars, I'll post pics.

Yes, I saved up a ton of Amex points for them.
