Nothing good can come of open carry over Conceal carry. When you carry, you have a higher degree of responsibility. I have seen too many cockey pricks strutting around like they are untouchable. They are confrontational and arrogant. It is like they are looking for a fight. Those are the idiots that need their right to carry taken away

I am able to open carry in my state, but opt to CC. If my only option was to OC, then I would but only under certain circumstances. The reason I CC are as follows:
1.) societies misconceptions(they see a gun, they freek).
    2.) Draws unneccesary attention
    3.) Can provoke unwanted provocation.
4.) Too easy for others to "claim" I threatened or drew down on them and the burden of proof is on me.

I think # 4 and 2 are the main reason. #4 is the reason I have no stickers in my car windows. I try to draw no unneccesary attention to the fact I own a gun/guns. If you do, I think you are being foolish. Anti gun nuts know the laws and being a liberal they wouldn't hesitate to fabricate a situation to strip me of my gun rights.

You see in this world there's two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig?

Funny debate...FBI statistics state that people who are known to carry a gun are less likely a victim of violent crime. Their stats - not mine. When I open carry, I do NOT allow people near my side...period. This eliminates the opportunity to lose my weapon by an idiot. I do not live in the city or even a heavy populated area thus have no issue keeping people from my "bubble". And lastly, tryin to get a ccw here is a joke. That is why their was legislation in this yr that was shot down regarding ccw permits and doin away with the permit. A joke.

Wag...we didnt have CQB training. I was a Bradley Linebacker driver.

I saw that clip on CNN this morning. The guy stashed the memory disk in his mouth -- sly -- the cops thought they destroyed the camera but the disk/smart chip survived. CNN accused the cops of destroying evidence. I think it was more like attempted destruction of evidence.

This one will end in a lawsuit for certain. And I think the police will lose....

Excessive use of force will be an issue as well.
