After a month or so of research and stalking this forum, I would like like to introduce my self and thank all of you for your insight in helping to make the decision in my most recent firearms purchases. I guess I've technically been a member of the FN family for several years as I got my first Browning B2000 20ga at 10 years old and my BLR .243 at 13 and my browning rifle colection has contiued to grow from there. This being said, I recently found myself in the market for a CCW handgun and that's where the research began. I have always had an aversion to striker guns but after looking long and hard I came to the conclusion that they were popular for a reason. From there I decided that having a range gun and carry gun with the same manual of arms would benefit me in the long run. The first hard decision was to trade my fantastic sig p220 in toward the purchase of 2 new pistols, a compact and a full size. From there it took a while to reconcile the fact that I was giving up a 230gr jhp for a 135gr jhp.
After much mulling over all this though, I am proud to welcome to the family a brand new FN-9L and its little sister a FN-9c NS.
Again, I truly appreciate all the insight on these weapons and look forward to more intelligent and educational discussions as I get acquainted with all of you.
