New FN Owner from VA.

Hello from hampton roads.

Got my PS90tr around christmas (present to myself cause ive been a good Boy), and i love it!.
Being a fan of the stargate franchise is what first drew my attention to the gun. It looked soo neat that i just had to have it.

This is also my first non-hand gun purchase as well. Ive been in the market for an assault rifle/carbine for a while. I decided upon the ps90 for a couple of reasons. First is the itch ive had since watching stargate. Also when speaking to people, there are a lot of people who own M4s, ARs, AKs etc... But no one owns, or even fired, a PS90.

got it around christmas, and before taking it to the range i promptly purchased an assaults systems sub machine gun case, plus 2 50 round mags.

took her to the range with about 150 rounds of ammo and drool i fell in love. Now i should say that i couldnt hit anything i aimed for the first time out because the rail doesnt have any sights, but i was able to get the zombie chef a belly full ammo.

Bought an inexpensive truglo red dot, zeroed her in, and now its game on! Shooting this weapon is a breeze. The range i go to requires a 4 count between shots. Its hard to adhere to because this weapon is soo smooth you dont need much readjusting between shots.

ive found cleaning to be pretty simple, though i dont own a proper kit for it yet, it only breaking down into 4 parts for cleaning is a major perk. (one of the reason i stick to glock hand guns)

the only thing i dont like about this weapon is the overal ignorance regarding the ammo it uses. Most of the "hand gun" ranges wont allow it because its "armor piercing" or some other ignorant excuse. Which is dumb because that ammo isnt even civillian legal.

Now that she has a proper case, 3 mags, and a good site im going to stop adding more stuff to her (for now).
ive found myself spending more time looking for addons for her online at work, then actually doing any work.

I will say that i just received the forms needed to do an SBR, so she will be properly dressed out.
Next payday ill even let my friends have a chance with her, they havent stopped pestering me since i showed them.

one last thought.
Does anyone here name their weapons? ive started to and curious if im the oddball or the norm.
