    Got my second stamp back!

Last year I was able to SBR, and this year I got a suppressor. I ended up with a modular NYX Mod 2 from Energetic Armament. It is so light you don't even know it's there. Took just over 6 months after they cashed the check.

Looks nice in the short configuration. You lucked out on the stamp timing. Just got mine on 8/20 when the check was cashed 2/1. Have another one that was cashed on 2/14, but have not heard on it yet. ATF just says 7+ months when I called last week. Was hoping the silencer shop barcode would speed this one up, but it seems to be the same as the non barcode method at this point.

    Congratulations - it looks AWESOME!

I'll be eagerly awaiting your post on how your new suppressor works, how easy it is to maintain, etc.

The suppressor is all Titanium, so I plan to just take it apart and drop it into an ultrasonic cleaner after each range trip. I emailed the manufacturer Saturday night with a few questions, this is my first suppressor, heard back on Sunday. They even sent me a link to the right antiseize on McMaster. The thing that impressed me most is that the whole thing weighs just over 4 ounces. In the shorter configuration it is only 2.45 ounces. Several people suggested a 556 can, but they were all quite a bit heavier and I wanted something my son could also use on a 10/22 without it being too heavy.

I wanted to do the e-file for the stamp, but silencershop didn't carry the one I wanted, and the only dealer in my area didn't have the kiosk anyway. I had to order it myself, delivered to my local ffl, then mail in the paperwork after they received it. They were really helpful, and only charged $45 for the transfer.

I will definitely post again after I shoot it.
