Any other smiths besides PMM cutting, threading, doing gas jet work on SCAR barrels?

As indicated. I see PMM does excellent work but their 12 week timeline may put me in a bind due to an upcoming move. Any other recommendations? (Yes, the factory 10" barrel is a best/better option but they are VERY difficult to find right now).

Ok...Good and Fast. Whom are you referring to now that you offered a possibility without naming said smith?

Marvin @ Nefarious Arms did the pin & weld on my 16S many years ago.
Between him & Jarod (PMM), I'd personally consider no one else. YMMV

I went with Class III machining, did a great job with my Scar 16 chop and the turn around is stupid. He doesn't do gas jets so you will want to buy them from PMM.

The reviews on Facebook looked good, so I sent mine off to GNI yesterday to have it chopped to 10". They charged me $125 + $25 return shipping. https://www.facebook.com/GunNutIndustries/

I set up to make gas jets, but didn't follow through. If you know sizes you need, post them, and I'll see if I can't get some out.

I've seen a few people post on another forum that they had work down at ADCO firearms for cutting SCAR barrels along with pin and welding. They are highly recommended on ARFcom as well. I don't know that they do gas jet work though. I'd just order jets from PMM and swap them yourself.
