Hey Scott! Nice to see you too!!

I like Glock I've owned and or carried one since they came to our shores. I think the city of Miami PD were one of the first adopters too. But I'm also a fan of fully ambidextrous controls something Glock dabbled with on the 21SF IIRC but the mag release had serious issues. I'll run the 509 through it's paces and run at least 1500 pills through it's barrel without failure before I decide to set my G19 aside...

I did this and never looked back.

Man that is a beauty. If I find one locally with a user looking for a Glock 19....

Good news, and no I didn't test negative for Covid-19! My 509 has finally shipped, now it's time to order extra goodness to upgrade the pistola...

Thanks, it'll be awhile before range day, lot's of upgrades first. I can say this, it is unlikely I will have to do any polymer tweaking which is a welcome change.

Then of course knowing my history with firearms it will be customized and personalized the SeaMac way. At least FN got the 509 Midsize damn near perfect IMHO so hopefully I'll finally be able to leave mostly well enough alone. You see, Glock gives me too many options and I can't help myself but to customize, it's an illness I'm aware with the only effective medicine and treatment being more customization. Thankfully the Doctors at FN Herstal seem to have created a vaccine in the 509. I should be okay now and heading towards remission...
sweet!!!! I’m toying with same impulse. Congrats
