So, I hit the big 50 today, and lately my eyes have been needing a boost more often than not. So I stepped up (a little) the magnification on both of my 17's. I also lightened up the 16 SBR (a little). Been drinking coffee and tinkering all morning.
On the 17's...I picked up a Trijicon Accupower 1-8 at a pretty damn good price for the FDE, and moved the Gen II Razor 1-6 over to the black SBR. That's a nice improvement over the Aimpoint PRO/Aimpoint 3x Magnifier combo it has been sporting for the last six years. It's lighter too...or at least it seems so.
The Trijicon was going to be a Gen III Razor 1-10, but I got tired of waiting, cancelled my order and picked a carbine/shotgun/pistol combo instead. What can I say, I have the patience of a cranked-up housefly. I'm comfortable with my flaws. I still want the 1-10, but it'll have to wait as the well is now dry.
The 16 SBR got an Aimpoint Comp M5, replacing the Aimpoint PRO it had been sporting since day one.
I know the AR build doesn't really belong here, but I finished it up this morning after pecking at it for a few month now. I topped it off with a Gen 2 Strike Eagle 1-8.
And the SCARs all together:
Looking forward to hitting the range and getting every thing zeroed in.
