    First FN

Hello to all from Florida. Bought a used FNS40 longslide. Unfortunately, after I purchased it, I became a member of this forum and found out about the striker issue. It is currently back at FN getting the voluntary upgrade.

Welcome and congrats on the FNS.

FN did a pretty quick turnaround on both of mine when I sent them in...a week door to door. Of course that was way back before everything got all weird.

    Welcome!

Unfortunately the recall striker is less desirable than the original. You may want to purchase the Apex machined striker for longevity

Yes, as I am reading I am learning. I see that maybe I made a mistake sending it in and should have stuck with the old striker. I will get an Apex, all my M&Ps have gotten the Apex treatment. They are good stuff
