    New Guy Checking in

First post, new to this forum and loving the FN 509T pistols.

Ohio CHL instructor, USN veteran and seasoned shooter.

I've been shooting for decades but still have much to learn.

Really enjoy taking classes to become a better shooter and instructor.

    Thanks for having me.

Thank you! I'm a long time CZ shooter but the FNs have really shot well for me.

I bought the tan one as a suppressor host and found myself shooting my CZs less and less.

Welcome and thanks for your service!

As an aside, how do you like the SRO as compared to the RMR?

It's like going to the Drive In, the field of view is just awesome. Probably my favorite RDS optic with the features of the FOV and auto adjust illumination.

I do like the RMR a bunch but for different reasons. It's rugged and a much larger dot at 6.5 MOA versus the 2.5 with the SRO.

Welcome to the forum! Is that an apex trigger on your fde 509? If so, how do you like it? I'm wanting to put one on my 509 and my fns9c. Just trying to get some feedback.

It is the Apex and it was a significant improvement over the stock trigger.

I was an early adopter and the early triggers were pretty bad. It's a very nice trigger after installing the Apex kit.
